Organizational Structure Authorizations using Groups

Groups is not only a powerful feature to add new dimensions to your report,
it is also a great feature to ease the configuration of your authorization profiles.

Up till now, you could already use a group of persons as Exclusive Members of a project or assign the same group to a Team Leader.

But from now on, if your groups structure contains several levels (for example a more complexe hierarchy structure),
You will be able to choose not only the bottom levels but any level in the structure.

Here is an example of a multi-level teams structure:

You will now be able to assign employees directly to the Team C, which was not possible before.
This is done via the Person Details module (or any of the details module for projects or customers, ...)

You will also be able to assign one of these higher level to a team leader.
The Team leader will be able to see all levels below in his reports (Team C1 and Team C2 in this example).
He will see by default the Team C in his Approval module
but will have the option to drill down in the structure and approve employees from lower levels.

Last but not least, we have added the possibility to assign a group of projects to a Project Manager.
