Timesheet Settings

Here you can define some parameters that will influence the behavior of the timesheets for your entire account.

  • Minimum quantity of time accepted

    This is the minimum amount of time accepted for an entry. eg: 0.10 is a tenth of an hour (6 minutes) 0.25 is a quarter of an hour(15 minutes) 

  • Maximum quantity of time per day

    If users try to put a sum of time over this value on the same day, they will get an error when filling the timesheet. 

  • Send email reminders to fill the timesheets:

    • Choose --- No reminder --- if you do not want to send reminder emails

    • Or choose a time option you want the email to be sent:

      • a day of the week

      • the start of the month

      • the end of the month
Emails are sent around 5:00am UTC


  • Timesheet Approval

    • If you say yes
      Managers, Admin and Team leaders will be able to approve/reject the submitted hours using the Approval module.
      Note: No email reminders are sent to the employees who have already submitted all their hours.

      Approval notifications
      There are two notification options for the approval:

      1. Notify the approver when a timesheet is submitted
        Once an employee submits a timesheet, the Approver receives an email with a link to the person, and the home screen, where the module Approval usually sits.

      2. Notify the staff when a timesheet is rejected
        If an approver rejects a timesheet, the staff is notified with an email.

    • If you say no
      There is no submit button in the timesheet and no email reminders.


  • DCAA compliance

    • All timesheet entries: original entry, modification and deletion are recorded for auditing

    • Only the employee can enter and modify their timesheet
