Module: Timesheet

There are 2 types of timesheets: a weekly and a monthly
A daily view with from/to hours. A better mobile interface and a timer are arriving soon

Weekly timesheet

If you have often the same activities from weeks to weeks.
If you want to copy an entire week to another.

The weekly timesheet will make you faster.



Monthly timesheet

If each of your days is different.
If you want to edit existing entries, move them or copy them one by one.

You will like the monthly timesheet.

Common features

Both timesheets share some common features:



  1. Month or Week
    To switch between the weekly and monthly views

  2. Show weekends
    Click it to show the Non working days defined in the localisation settings
    If there isn't any non working day set, this link is hidden.

  3. Select the time period(week or the month)
    Start typing the date, it will automatically suggest a value.

    You can use some special input like:
    • today
    • tomorrow
    • July 2011
    • next friday
    • last April
    • 2011.08.07
    • 6/4/2011

  4. Previous/Next time period
    Click the arrows to go to the previous or next period

  5. Today
    Will bring you back to the current period.

  6. Send for approval
    This button is only present if the approval is set to Yes in Timesheet Settings
    The approvers can approve or reject the hours in the Approval module.

    When you click Submit for Approval, the hours are locked for change.
    You can undo your submit in case of errors:


    Click Undo in the green box, that appears just after you submit.


  7. Undo/Redo
    There is an unlimited undo/redo while you change your timesheet.
    If you change the screen (eg: go to a company, a project,...) the undo/redo can't be used anymore.
