Module: Project manager

The Project manager module can be used in two different places:
  • In the project page, where you can define a list of people managing the project.
  • In the employee page, where you can define a list of projects managed by the person.
In order to let the project managers see their projects listed in that module, you need to:
  1. go to the page of that person
  2. locate User details
  3. set the Access rights to: Project Manager

Use

To add managers to a project or projects to a manager, simply click on the "Add new" button.

Authorization

Assigning managers to a project will give them the right:
  • to see all hours done by employees on this project in the various modules where hours are shown (Chart & Table, Report, ...).
  • to approve all hours done by employees on this project in the approval module.
A user who has received the authorization role "Project manager" with no assigned project to him will be able to see and approve all the hours done on every project.
