Groups are categories that you can create, such as Departments, Locations, Employee Types, etc.
Ideally, groups should be created with a hierarchy of 2 levels or more. You can use groups to filter and report on these categories in the modules Report and Chart & Table. Groups can also be used to make bulk selections in certain modules, such as Exclusive Members or Team. Rather than selecting employees one by one, you can select an entire group with the Add groups button. To use the Groups Settings module you must be an account Admin, then:
Create a Reporting/Filtering StructureWith the Groups Settings module you can create a hierarchy as complex as you want. This could be a list of locations or offices where your company works, a list of departments, etc.
Assign Groups to Companies, Projects, Employees, etc.Groups can be assigned to an entity (an employee, project, company, etc.) using the Groups module on that entity's page.
You can assign as many groups as you want to an entity. To remove an entity from a group, click on the "x" to the left of the group name. Reporting and Filtering on GroupsYou will be able to view results per department, country, or any other group hierarchy that you have put in place.
